Youth In Performing Arts

The acclaimed season of live variety performances present an ensemble cast of young musicians, singers, dancers and actors showcasing the Central Coast’s own handpicked talent. Witness stars in the making, catch them before they’re famous, and experience the breadth of our region’s dazzling arts and entertainment line-up. This is the very best of the time-honored variety entertainment format, enjoy old favorites, sample new delights and go home with the music in your ears, the beat still thumping in your chest and the knowledge that the Central Coast is home to Australia’s stars of tomorrow. HOMEward Bound - EVERY WEDNESDAY
On the 23/02/2011 @ 1pm at the Youth Arts Warehouse
Art Installation project seeks to engage local young people, community service providers, Central Coast communities and comtempory artist in a conversation about their definition of 'home' and their attitudes towards 'homelessness.' The result will be a public artwork, initially located in Kibble Park, Gosford, and then exhibited Regionally. Homeward Bound in founded by Gosford City Council Community and Cultural Development Grants 2010.
Script Inc. Phase 2 - Actors Wanted
On the 01/02/2011 @ 5pm at the Youth Arts Warehouse
Co-ordinated by Jonathan Gilbert. Young people aged 12-24 are challenged to put pen to paper, draft a one act theatre script and win the chance to develop their pieces further with a dedicated Director and Performers. Students will the workshop, refine, rehearse and present the successful pieces at a season of performances at the Youth Arts Warehouse. Starts back term 1 on Tuesdays.
